Seat cover removal
Is it possible to remove the seat covers, if so how? can you wash them or am I being dumb :dontknow:

You can remove them but I would not put them in the wash unless you split them from the vinyl sections and then no more than 40 degrees or they might shrink.
Covers are held by
- many hog rings (use 2 pairs of nose pliers) to the frame
- a series of hooks/spikes running at the bottom of the back rest
- head rest tubes (go from the inside of the seat with a 10 or 11mm socket)
I think you can clean them just as well with a decent cleaner and medium brush

I used vanish mousse and a steam cleaner on mine and they came up a treat!

Just power wash them (out of the car obviously) - simple...... i did this to a set of 16v seats - came up a treat - you need some decent weather for em to dry quickly... not really a winter job.
