s1 dash vs s2 dash

can any one please tell me does the s1 dash mount the same way as the s2 dash ?
just that i have no holes at the sides of the s1 dash

Mounts almost the same after viewing the pics on this page.  I just put in an S1 dash so memory is fresh. There are two bolts at each end in the same place as the screws in the diagrams.  Take the nuts off from the inside or take the brackets off completely with two screws each end.  Slightly different brackets though from my experience, the early nut/bolt are different spacing to the screws though the sides.  Some S1 dashes have the holes though like the S2 however so would be exactly the same in that case.
