repair panels?

hi, does any body know where i can find a repair panel for the inner wing towards the back on the A pillar side? i have seen repair panels for the front inner wing but none for underneath the scuttle panel by where the door hinges sit.
I have a patch of rot in this panel, what should i do?
any help would be appreciated!

Dont think you can get a repair panel - but as it is box like in shape it wouldn;t be too much of a job to fold out of suitable gauge sheet steal and patch it.

Like Carbs said should be fairly easy to make a patch plate up, failing that you could always cut one out of a scrap shell

Volkswarenhaus do the panel you are talking of. It is a complete door post with a fair bit of inner wing too. They also do a small patch for the inner wing top sections where it meets the scuttle and pillar.

i have started to fabricate my ownpanel but i would prefer a ready made one. getting one off a doner is going to be to hard to do as i cant find one and you have to use your own tools at scrap yards.

Beware of some of those pattern repair panels as they can be of very poor quality,i`v just bought some myself and they really are rubbish!

I always have shells I am breaking and often cut out sections for people to use for repair.

Thas a good idea CQ,I am getting in some old damaged shells to cut up for parts as the pattern ones really are poor.
