Renovating Metal engine parts
Now usually i take a wire brush to the bad parts, bit of emery paper and slap some smooth hammerite on, but wat id like to know is what is the better more reliable way of doing this? to stop rust coming back for example?
Also this project im doin with the gf's little bro,so its on a tight budget.
any ideas or advice?
TIA

For painting, I think powder-coating is the way to go, it provides a tougher chip-resistant finish.
