Removal of wheel arches and front and rear bumpers

How would I go about removing the plastic wheel arches and bumpers for painting? As the faded black thing is letting down the car! I saw some bumpers after being painted on here and they looked sweet! And what steps should I take in preparation for the painting? Hoping to have my car nice and tidy for the meet next year as it will be my first!

Thanks again, Curtis

I don't know about the preparation so someone else will have to give you guidance on that side.

Removal of the bumpers is a relatively easy task. They are held by 2 bolts each side, its a matter of getting a socket to undo them. If you have headamp wash then you'l need to uplug tha from the botte and thread through the front panel. Unplug the indicators too.

Rears are even easier, again 2 bolts either side.

Apparntley you go over them with a hot air gun.
This will turn them back to black.
Just don't melt them. Lol

I'll give it a go Chortle, I was going to order some new ones from Eurowagens, but if this works, I'll not bother! Lets hope I don't melt them!

I just messaged you about your badge refurb kits too, they look awesome when done, thanks, Curtis
