Red stripe on dash surround
I know there has been a lot of talk regarding campaign trim specs, but should a campaign mk1 have a dash surround with a red stripe on it ??
Or….can someone point me in the direction of the bit in the forum that contains the answer as I can't see it.
Cheers

If you're good with small pieces of fine sandpaper (about 400-600 grade), you can sand off the silver stripe, and then polish the surface that you've revealed with T-Cut, and it will look like an original black one.
The trick is to avoid sanding the surrounding plastic, or it will look terrible!
PS: If you (or anyone) has a red-stripe surround, best not to sand it, as these are rare as hen's teeth now, but the silver ones came on a lot of models…
