paintwork???

hi guys,
I had some sticky selotape stuff on my bodywork and couldnt get it off with warm water and a cloth so i tried a light rud with a scourer (plastic) now ive made a dull patch on the bodywork! anybody know how i can get the shine back? cheers guys bob….

try using normal polish first, if that's no good try hand glaze polish ( or t-cut ) failing that use G3 rubbing compound but take it stage at a time or you could make it worse . should be able to buy from local car accesseries shop.

Go with the t-cut, works wonders pal, you shud see some before and after shots of my mk1, awesome stuff, but dont go gung-ho, just nice and gentle!!

t-cut every time - that stuff is amazing - but be patient as it takes a lot of elbow grease to get the desired results - once done make sure you apply a layer of wax to the area to protect it! I've done so many cars with T-cut I've lost count and have learnt its benifits. Make sure you don't do it on hot surfaces as it is very poor and also don't do it in sunlight. Makes sure none goes onto any plastic trim either.
