paint code (or does anyone know this colour)

My car is due to go to the painters at the beginning of next month for a full respray/ blow over plus all rust (like all mk1's  :roll: )

What i need to know is what colour is my golf so i can go and get the paint from VRS for the painters, here is a pic of the car.

Hiya, the paint code might be printed on a sticker located on the car inside the drivers door. On the actually car body itself. You'll have to open open the door wide and look at where the door locks into the car. Thats where it should be along with tyre pressure recomendations and tow capacities and the like.

The paint code is LY5V same colour as mine,hope this helps,mine is titled bigger pic in the new folks forum if you wanna double check.I got a spray can the other week with no problem from hex holdings so shouldnt be a problem for you.
The paint code is inside the boot on the back seat there is a sticker unless its worn off.
