Old dealer plates

Hi

Looking for any pictures of original VW dealer plates from the lates 80's early 90's

The closer the dealers name and any logos phone numbers etc the better

I'd really like an image of a Scotts of Sloane Sqaure one or an Ian Skelly but anything would be useful at this point  

Also any dealer window stickers would be great to

Was looking at those MK1's before a right pair of beauties!

What happened to the Ian Skelly dealerships? I remember driving past the one on edge lane when i was younger it was massive! closed a good few years ago the site is still derelict

I am led to believe that Skellys were too competitive for their own good and ran into trouble with supply & demand. It was taken over by a management buyout and renamed Verve sometime in the late '80's.  Skelly, himself, went into retirement but in the days of early foreign UK spec imports he opened a place in Motherwell, don't think it done too well  :dontknow:
