Mk1 Golf Side Strips, Pre 83 size...

howdy

someone has informed me that pre 83 side strips are a different size, does anyone have any technical data for this?

i really just need the 2 sizes of the strips, and the gap between them

someone will know 100% but I didnt think there was any difference as Ive had 1981 & 1982 and looked same to me unless there is a very slight size difference  :dontknow:

well yeah this is what i thought, but i have been told they were different, so i just want ot varify!

so the answer is there is just one size?

i seen some guy on ebay selling pre 83 ones, where he get his info? apart from his being MASSIVELY over priced, he is selling duff goods surely?

i didnt know they started doign them in textured material, i cant see why they would do that, as the textured stuff is a protective measure, anyone got any pics of their car with textured vinyl side strips?
