MFA Help

Right the thing don't work and untill i get a haynes manual i don't even know where to begin. the display is just loads of 8's. took the passenger footwell tray off and the fuseboard/relays were wet ???????  

ooo - that doesn't sound too good!

First thing is find where the water came from and try and fix that. If your fuse/relay panel is getting wet often you'll have a lot of problems to fix. Don't know if anything as serious as rotten lower corner of windscreen, otherwise could be scuttle area in front of bulk head not draining. Make sure it is clear of old leaves, debri and make sure the rubber drain tubes at each end are clear of blockages.

Once you've got it dry, can then look at MFA kwowing all else is ok but I'm guessing if showing all 8's it may be knackered anyway?

Get the leak sorted first!

I've had the 888888 flashing display in the past and found out that the car battery and alternator was knackered. So the problem could be lack of volts to the display, the water is shorting the wiring.
