Karmann Question??

Evening.

I need the help of a Golf Genius.

I have been recently been looking a Golf 1982 Cabriolet.
Car is claimed to be a Karman … dose not have the gti engine.

Were karmanns made with the Normal 1.5/1.6 engines

Yes the karmen conversion is the convertible which you can get in 1.6, 1.8 and 1.8 GTI versions.
