hood colour restorer

i got a new mohair hood last year in black, it has faded slightly, and was wondering if anyone knows if there is any thing to restore the colour or brighten it up?

Halfords do a hood cleaning and restoration kit , i used one on my MK4 Cab last year , worked well . Also  Homepage - Frost Auto Restoration Techniques do one but not tested so i can't comment .

But wait for some more 'experts' advice on here as i am not sure if its recommended for mohair .

I'm just having a look in my frost catalouge now and there certainly are products for reviving colour and re-water proofing mohair hoods
