just taken a roll cage out of my golf which was put in by previous owner, i wanted restore car to original condition, the only problem is that i have now got 15 holes, what is the best way to fill the holes and protect from rust etc where the bolt were,i know it is simple question just want to do it right to protect my baby?

I read in one of the magazines out there that for trim and bolt holes you can just hold some aluminium behind the holes (if you can get there) and weld the holes up with a MIG.
The weld sticks to the steel panel but not the ally so you just grind the top of the weld off to blend in and hey presto, seamless sheet metal.
Haven't tried it myself but i heard it's good.
