help with hood please

finally bought myself a clipper 92 reg good cond i love it im hooked should have done it years ago only down side is hood works when it feels like i wish it had felt like it today what a beut day only had her 2 weeks & wanted it down  . the fluid in the motor in boot is below min dont know how to fill it or what with any ideas much appreciated . new to classic cars learning quick with manuel but nothing in manuel about motor frustrated

Unsure myself but being a motor to work hydraulics i would use hydraulic fluid/oil will have a look in my manual 2moro for you and let u know for sure if someone already hasnt and also i will look into how to fill it as mine is a manual roof.Welcome  

i thought hydrolic oil but i work in electronics & i dont know thanks for your reply if you can look in your manuel tomoz that would be great cheers much appreciate
