Gas Bonnet Lifters - Whos got em fitted? - Info needed!!

Hi All, Im after some gas bonnet lifters, i know there readily available but im not sure if i should go for the universal lifters (approx ?15) that fit all the VW models that you can get from all VW websites/ebay, OR some Bonrath ones (approx ?50) which are specifically designed for your particular VW model: http://performance.rallynuts.com/render.asp?doc=/bonrath-power-lifts.htm

So what has everyone got on there rides and what do you think of them. Are the universal ones any good?

All feedback appreciated

Cheers

Fitted STW's (were about ?10 each at a show) to both cars (must get some pics done) and they are 'the biz'. German instructions, but did not matter, as dimensions are shown. Plenty of waxoil in the holes drilled in the wings should keep the worm away.
Saves having the normal bonnet stay in position so easier access all round. Plain silver metal bodies, but a wipe with WD40 keeps them clean and rust free.
