front wings

hi i wanna take my front wings off to look for rust you know to be sure to be sure. any diagrams or pics to help please i dont wanna just go at it and mess it up lol. many fanks in advance.

Haynes manual has a pic showing you where all the bolts are located-I think someone has posted this before, try doing a search.

Did it on Saturday.

Pice of pie…

4 bolts along top.
3 down back edge of wing into door pillar.
1 at back bottom of wing and one at front corner..

Took 10 mins a side…

The only problem you might have is locating the wing to door post bolts to start with as they are covered with lots of sealer (providing they havent been replaced and not covered in loads of it).  I used a chisel and hammer to knock through it, chisel comes to an abrupt stop when it meets a bolt head, then start digging!.
