front wing removal

hi all, silly question i know but how do u remove front wings? i havent taken the inner arch lining out as yet but have taken the four bolts of the top.is it spot welded anywhere?

not spot welded, will be some bolts holding wing to a pillar under the arch liner plus one in the bottom of wing where it meets sill

There are also 3 bolts holding the wing to the door pillar. Also a ton of snot gumming it all together. You'll need to remove the inner lining first tho.
I (carefully) used a hot air gun to soften the snot/wax and remove mine.

Oh yeah. One underneath the sill and the one holding it to the bottom of the front panel. Mine was rotten in both places so non-existent. lol

cheers mate. got the arch lining out. rusted screws were fun too lol. for sum reason my front wing is tak welded to the front panel!doh. all bolts out and it looks like thats all that stopping it comin out. grinder time hahah. thanks for the piks misterpie, legend!

I have a rust spot on the rear panel were the back wondow is, more near the door edge. Would this be easer to remove and replace and if so how ??  or can i rub it down and spray it.



any halp would be grand !!
