Filler neck panel

Anyone know if you can still get a filler neck recess repair panel? Seen them in the past, can't remember where. Hardrian panels don't appear to list one. VW list 171 809 870 A as part number, but dealer say no longer available :dontknow:

Pretty sure I got mine from Hadrian last year  :?

eurocarparts say 'no stock' @?13.76 (PN 870440130) but have been told they probably do.. it's just they're web site isn't 100%.. worth a call at least

No sorry mate, didn't think about making a note of the part numbers!  

Went through my local friendly garage to get them and he had a book there.. just circled what I wanted then came back the next day with the cash!

You mean the outer panel right? I might have a spare if you want.

Yes dubboy, thanks for the offer. However, appears Hadrian do still do the panel, just not on website. Popped into the local paint factor this afternoon and ordered one (about ?8.00) also ordered outer O/S arch. Eurocar Parts said can get one for ?20 but may take 1- 2 weeks to turn up.

Was supposed to be just a bit of MOT welding, but getting carried away . Bits of rot in outer/inner archs and found bit of filler round filler neck - filler neck itself nice and solid. Decided may as well replace panels rather patch here and there especially as got fuel tank and axle off.

Got mine new from VAG for less than ?20. Repair panel on back order though. Took less than 1 week to arrive.

I need to get one hopefully by monday!!

I sourced a genuine VAG one from GPC for about 15 quid.

91-22-538 appears to be the number - not totally clear on receipt.
