Few questions

Was just looking round my car today on the floor on the passenger footwell there is a hole i presume this is was maybe used when the car was built and then a disc put on to cover it up, i have bought the disc from VW to go here but just wondered how it was fitted? There is no screw holes so would it be ok to just bond it with tiger seal or something similar?

Also there are some round holes above this which are used to hold the carpet but right now all i have is the holes so if i bought the clips how do they fix?

I have found a pic of what i'm talking about so if anyone could help me out that would be great

the disc is just held in with seem sealer and lots of it

any ideas on the circles that hold the carpet?

the carpet is held on by pegs that stick out then a funny washer pushed over

in the picture the hook shape looking thing, top left

thats bent out and hold the orginal sound deadening in

Just going back to this it's been a while!
So to secure the disc I need seam sealer is that right?
If so what type would be best any recommendations?
