Easy question, but I don't know the answer

I've been moving that front GTI badge about on the front grill for at least the last 5 years. Anyone know the exact position for the front GTI badge as per VW factory?

not certain but as you look at the car it sits on the right hand side, you should see 3 No. horizontal slats below and 4 No. above. then the left edge of the badge should sit butt up against the second vertical slat (from the fog lamp)

Does this make sense?

height wise looks good compared to an original advert but its an early 1.6 so only has single lamps? so had a quick look at my car.

anyone know for sure?

Makes sence but I have refused to put the badge on until I know the precise location.

I've checked a number of photos in the magazines but the badge seems to be placed at random :dontknow:
