Drivers door seal

I need a new inner door seal for my Campaigns drivers side door.

Part number (I think) is 171 837 911H - Don't think they're handed?

I probably wont have time to phone my main stealer until Tues/Weds so in meantime does anyone know if VW still do these and what kinda cost?

Also,how do they fix to the door? (I've not checked mine properly yet!) If clips, is it best to replace them with the seal

I reused the old clips , better to look out for a good second hand one ? As they are quite exspensive . Whats the problem with yours is it missing bits or is her in doors complaining of a draught ?

No, not draft - letting water in (again!) at least this is only place I can track it down to. The seal is very 'frayed' under the door and water appears to be getting in over the sill.

anyone got a (cheap!) 2nd hand one?

I just checked and they are obsolete, shame cos i need one too!!!

They are handed and OE. I got a set from a German VW dealer and from Volkswarenhaus - same item. Also available from SA (as are all seals, even 2-door).

You can restore them, but its finding one in good nick to start with.
