Driver seat bolster
Does anybody know where I can get a drivers seat bolster from - I am after the piece that sits opposite the door.
Really I would like new but not sure if anybody does them anymore?? :dontknow:

Oh yeah - forgot to say my car is a mk1 golf cabriolet 1991. I think some of the bolsters were different in some of the mk1's

Bolsters for the cabrio are still available from VW, they aren't that cheap though. They are the same part as the Mk2 GTI too.

I have just called VW and they say they are now obselete so can no longer order them.
If anybody happens to have a good drivers seat bolster that they want to sell please let me know

Get a spare set of seats from a scrappy and swap the bolsters over - passenger inside goes on driver's outside……?????

From what I can recall (I had a mk2 a few years ago) the foam and bolster are in one piece. Should be a piece of cake.
