Cleaning Cream Leather on my 91 Rivage
hello everyone.
I am in the process of taking my green rivage off the road and whilst she's having a rest I plan to give the cream leather a proper clean. I ahve seen some products on the web that 'aparently' will bring the leather back to a 'like new' condition but I very sceptical. The leather is in a pretty grubby condition and there are a few deep grooves forming. What would anyone recommend to clean this leather and also to condition without me having to purchase very expensive brands from america.
Thanks
Jon

I've found Auto Glym foam cleaner is pretty good to clean leather, then use their leather cream to feed it

Most leather seats cant be fed.
There normally coated in a lacquer type stuff (not sure what its called) which makes them hard wearing.
Only really old leather seats which wernt coated can be fed.

wow!
Amazing what can be done with the correct products/tools. So are you saying the seats in my rivage should be fed or do you think they will have the lacquer?

Hi I use saddle soap to clean up my leather seats. Have now used it for the passed 4years once at the start of the year to clean of the winter grim and then use the Armstrong leather wipes. Keeps the seats also very soft hope this helps ade
