Settling In

Chrome Surround
Right this is doing my feckin head in.
How on earth do the chrome surround go onto the window on a cabbie? There is the one that goes underneath the window itself, then a curved one on the up right……….how does the curved one attach without removing the rubber (or breaking the window through frustration)
Cheers

you have to loosen the quarter light before it will fit in properly, dead easy couple of screws at the top to release the outer rubber seal and the top of the metal channel, then there is another bolt down the bottom somewhere tho i cant remember where. might be in the bottom of the door? if not its behind the doorcard somewhere. once loose wind the window down all the way and you should have enough movement on the channel to get the quarter light to move away from the door, then you can slip the chrome strips into place
