can the original colour re-appear?

hi there,

im currently restoring my mars red campaign gti. the colour has faded as you would expect over the years. is there any stuff i can use to get the original colour back, without getting the car re-sprayed? i was thinkin about a t-cut or something.

t cut????? no!
you can buff it with a compound but it's best done by a pro i think. depends how bad it is.

I could probably help you out.  I've got compounds, sealants and a Porter Cable polisher that will bring it up a treat.  Where are you located?
