cabriolet door trims

hello
the upper door trims on my 1990 clipper have a couple of cracks in the boths sides,
there the trim at the top of the door card,it believe there glued on..
any ideas if this is nightmare part to fit/sorce

Mine are the same mate, Ime looking for blue ones to fit my 1983 cabrio
but can`t find them anywhere!, I have been keeping an eye on the breakers yards but no luck yet. What colour are you after? If I find any

Hi, Very common problem with this piece of trim - im in the same boat with a couple of cracks on the drivers side. They are simply glued into place and tuck under the window rubber. Pretty sure this part is obselete and very hard to find but not impossible. Saw a set on ebay once that went for over ?50 8O  8O . I run black electrical tape down the crack to tidy it up a bit, it defonately looks better. If you find anyone how does 'em please let me know.

If any turn up I will let you know, best bet is the breakers yards but
you dont find too many mk1`s , found one in December but someone
got there first!………..

I had cracks in my plastic trims and had a fella come round and do some renovation work on them. Most repairs have been ok but as you'd expect the drivers door has developed the same crack in the same place.

Try a car trimmer to see if one could help you.

Good idea, Passenger side is ok but the drivers side is a bit
Worse for wear ime affraid, its an old dark blue colour as well so
its a bit of a nightmare to match up to anything.
I Should have got one with a nice black interior!.
