cabby rear seat

Does the rear seat fold down? So I can get into the boot area from there
There is a bass box and amp in the boot and ive tried my hardest to get it out of the back but have had no luck.

yea it does

lift open the boot in the top left hand corner there should be a black knob, pull that out

then the seat should fold forward

There should be a rubber strap in the top right hand side, that you pull too. This releases the catch on both sides.
Sometimes these break off or are missing, so just have a look see if it's not there.

If it any help mine was missing when i got mine,so a quick trip to the local scrap yard and got the pull stap from a mk3 rear seat and made that fit.

the only way i could get me old sub box in and out of the clipper is with rear seats out, poping parcel shelf out the way helps to :-)

going to retry this weekend, im sure if it wasn t for the metal bar thingy going across the buttom of the shelf in the boot it would come out.

I was looking inside the boot for ages looking for the black knob to pull. Then i found it on the out side I pulled it and tried to push the seat forward but seat wouldn t budge, So I tried looking for the strap and can t seem to find that either lol… Then I noticed the cablethat goes from the black knob to the latch it pulls had come out from the back, I can t get the cable to attach again, Does any one know if it goes into  the hole of the latch?, Anyway I tried pulling the latch and pushing the seat but still no go.. Its always the little things that always catch me out.

The knob just pulls out, then you pull the seat strap.
The cable doesnt connect to any thing, all the other end does is stop the seat pull from operating.
Just squish your seat to one side and have a look for the catch as per jays piccy.
A flat Hoover belt has been used before soong as its. It too stretchy lol.
Your bound to pick one up off the forum no doubt.

had a good look and there is no seat strap, so no way I can get the seat down with out it?,  Will have to do what Jaycab has done. Thanks

got there in the end, found what was the remainder of the strap, thanks for your help again guys

Just contact funk star or Hibbs on here they will probably have a spare knocking about.

You may be able to get one from the main dealer perhaps???
