Bumper brackets

Hi. Got some new, genuine wings for mk1 resto. Noticed that there are no cutouts for rubber bumper supports. Will bumper sides sag or is it possible to cut holes myself??

easy to cut holes yourself… but when I replaced my rear arches I'd removed the rear holes.. bumper is still looking pretty straight but expect it to start dropping when the hot sun gets on it

personally, I wouldn't cut/drill the holes, just remove the clip from the bumper.. but that's just me  :wink:
