bike rack for a soft top?????

does anybody here know if you can get a bike rack for a mk1 soft top?? i have a sportline and i really need to get my bikes around but throwing them in the back is damaging the interior.

i may have to fabricate my own but i'd rather have a template to work from as there's no point in re-inventing the wheel.
