anyone thats ever put a new vinyl on?

hi peeps, im putting a new vinyl hood on the cabby, now im asking someone thats ever done one before, did your rear tension cable tighten up around the corners and leave the back loose? i cant figure out how to make it tighten up evenly???

I fitted a mo-hair on my cabby, if you pm 'prowler' on here he sells a cabby roof fitting dvd for about a fiver but its well worth it!!

The tensioning cable i tightened bit by bit alternating sides while my mate tapped the plastic guide tube under the lip around the back of the body.

I couldnt tighten the cable up as much as i need too as it started fraying and didnt want to snap it. (it might be worth replacing this while your doing the roof)

I have put a link in for you, have got prowlers DVD but not been able to watch it yet,  Ross from the Club does a how to guide also, go to the left of the three panes, you should find one marked as top/roof scroll down and there is a few further links, inc Ross'es. hope this helps
