What to do when changing your oil (Hydraulic Tappits)

Not being a fan of all the potions you can get for your car i was really supprised at he result of using Wynns engine flush when changing the oil on my cabby.

I've had a few problems with very noisey tappets when the cold weather and starting in the morning. sounded like a hammer drill under the bonnet until the engine warmed up

Thought I would be replacing the hydrualic lifters to cure it The it was suggested trying an engine flush additive, so I paid up ?5 and added the miracle cure and let the engine tick over for 15 mins, drain oil fitted new filter and…….wow the tappet noises next day had dissapeared and everything is running luverly :D

Well paying ?5 to take the oil out is not great but the results are fantastic

I use 50% parrafin mixed with 50% cheap new engine oil,run engine for 20 mins and watch all the crap drain out when the sump plug is removed, works well with the ford cvh engines and vauxhalls
