Water pump pulley

Hello all

I need help solving a mystery, are there two different types of water pump pulley? I have one which is off a cab, the pcd is different and the offset is wrong, can anyone help?

Cheers

Yes, but the variations are for cars with air conditioning and power steering - unlikely to find in the UK. Also bear in mind, other VW models share a similar engine (same water pump) but have differences around the impellor length/pulley. For example the 9A has a different length impellor and a double pulley arrangement, one of the pulleys is free spinning and the other is driven.

Across UK MK1s without PS or AC, there's one pulley. Across all VWs - who knows - 5 or 6 variations probably!

I don't suppose there's a part number on it? Also, which engine do you have fitted in your car?

No part number that I can see, its a pb bottom end, is there much difference between dx and pb bottom ends?
