mk1 1800 to g60! any ideas?

hi!  i was just wondering if anybody had any info regarding the fitting of a g60 motor to a mk1 gti? thanks.

great idea. i did the job myself but problem areas i had… engine and gear box mounts, wiring and fuse box, fueling.  and there is not alot of space for radiator and intercooler so i had it fabricated, can be pricey if you want to do it right and of course budget for supercharger rebuild.

Probably cost me ?3000, but its great… 8)

i think my conversion cost me about ?5000 intotal but then i didnt do it my self.
and i got quite a few knobs and bobs on it like a shrick cam, new charger from germany, and a pace charge cooler.
