the last 2 pics look like it's just out the showroom 8O  red one is real clean also.

what is the best way to go about cleaning up the bay as mine looks like it's never been touched and i'm ashamed to open the bonnet? :redfaced:

when i did mine i removed all the easily stripped bits from the bay( rad,air filter box, battery, headlights, etc) then just got in there with gunk degreaser and some brushes and scrubbed away. i had all the rusty bits powder coatedblack again and replaced the hose clips and all gaskets.
i got a bit carried away(as usual) but the end result is well worth it i think.

Bought it all the from www.frost.co.uk

It's all Eastwoods paint. Underhood black and Aluma blast and all rated at 300 degrees

Also bought the Aluma clean to clean the aluminium and ALOT of Pre Paint Prep to get rid of all the oil and grease  :D

No…

If you look under the dash in the passenger side footwell you will see 3 nuts. Undo them and you are half way there. Next you need to go under the bonnet and undo the 2 nuts that hold the opposite end to the bulk head and disconnect the push rod at that end aswell  :D
