Injector seatings... Where from???
Tried my usual parts factor, expecting no problems. No way he could get them quickly (emphasis was still on the "quickly" at this point.)
Tried Euro Car Parts. Again, they proved that they could NOT get "any part for any car"
Tried GSF. Informed that it's a dealer only part.
Rang dealer. Part discontinued "only in 2010 though, mate" [Handy!]
Looked on VW heratige. No search result for part number.
Looked through CQ's list… could't see any.
All this searching for 035133554 (part number from the brown bit)

And it seems that the non-air shrouded inserts are equally awkward to get, if you were thinking about converting!
Anyway…
Topran in Germany list them… (bothe for air shrouded, and non air shrouded engines)
Snag is, you need to be trade to deal with them…
I've rung my parts factor, seeing if he'd like to do the dealing!

Ordred from VW Hertiage.
CO63-133-555A is the code for them.
Alternatively I have these brown ones that may also fit yours going spare!

Mine have a brass piece (with the threads) and a separate brown bit that pushes on. Overall though, they look strikingly similar to the yellowy ones you've pictured.
In your bottom picture, you show the old brown ones which are the same as your new yellow ones, and the more pinky coloured ones that are a substitute if you're not using the air shroud system. I could use these if I plug the air shroud inlet in the cylinder head. Am I right?

The yellow and and old brown ones are the same.
The old brass one, second from the right looks similar to the pinky ones but the brass one has a larger hole to take the injector. The pinky ones didn't fit the thread of the DX head, nor did the injector fit through the hole.

Surprised the pinky ones are a different thread though. Wonder why they did that?!?
Do vw heritage sell stuff they don't list online? (not had much cause to deal with them so far!) Even searching the part number you've given me doesn't bring anything up on their website.
It'd be very handy if someone could confirm the thread is the same in a DX and JH head though!

I asked them for the part and they were getting them from Germany. I thought the part number may come in handy for someone.
Jelly - what was the engine that you were going to fit them in? Those pinky ones are what you sent me. Just thinking - after recent events and the 'big revelations' that my cabby has a Mk2 engine (but original) it could be that that caued the injector seat difference :dontknow:
