1.8v Bearing caps

hi all, well I managed to get hold of a second hand head to strip down and all fixed up to go on my 86 cabby.
Well i didn't read the manual and started to take the camshaft out, it all came out fine but what i didn't do is mark which cap came from where.
does it really matter if they don't go back onto there original place, if so what problems am i facing with it, ie new caps .
