Seal!

Anyone know where i can get the seal that sits between a weber carb an the airbox on a 1.5 gx?

Hi chris,
           On etka, it shows 2 seals one for 1.5 and one for 1.6, doesn't say for which is which.
Part numbers are:-

037 129 625 model EW
027 129 625 B model HN

Dealers will be only place to get it unless someone here has one.
On the weber i have and on my friends we did not fit the seal because the air filter would not fit, i had to cut a tiny piece away on the filter box around the tiny lip as on both sides of the weber, where the handle part thats holds the air filter on top of the carb, this is connected to a ring'd bracket, and one area i cut away and filter box sits perfect.

Yeah pics would be good mate as this carb was on it when i got the motor so need to do a bit of cross reference'in!

No worries will take them tomorrow and post them up if ok fella, doing abit of work on block anyway so will be able to take them.

Here are the pics, you can see on the air filter box where i have made one cut to the metal in order for it to sit on the carb, i used a dremmel.
Only cut one area of air filter box, where it meets the bracket, dont worry about other side of bracket it will sit flush.
The bracket is held in by 2 bolts, one at the bottom right of carb arrow in pic.
Cut air filter box so it fits over this part of bracket, once done it will fit like a glove.
