In there are some photos, the layout is:

Distributer goes to the connection on the front.
Brake servo line? –> T-peice —> Vac ball thing –> connection on the sticky out bit at the back of the carb that faces to the left when your looking down the car
One from the back air intake vac hose goes onto the back of the carb which faces backwards.

Sorry, couldn't get my D-SLR behind the carb to get a pic. Hope that sorts it.

Cheers

Hello!

I have a similar problem in that I'm convinced my vac lines aren't connected to the correct places and I'm not sure I'm following the description above as I can't find something that faces left!

If anyone could upload a Pic that'd be great!!

Thanks

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

Thanks for the quick reply but that looks like a 2e2, I'm after a pic of the back of a 1B3!

I'm after the same, mostly for the vacuum hoses from the air filter to the air redirect hose. On mine, the redirect is always closed so sucks hot air into the carb making it run rich, if I swap them around it doesn't seem right either. No idea if my setup is wrong or not, but here is how mine looks for the most part. PXL_20220324_135224073.jpg PXL_20220324_135117924.jpg PXL_20220324_135010633.jpg PXL_20220324_135006502.jpg PXL_20220324_135437763.jpg PXL_20220324_135016122.jpg

I think mine is mostly correct, but my car still runs rich and I've converted it to a manual choke, so some of the vacuum pull down is connected up, but redundant.
