jundering??

a few weeks ago my mk1 started judering (its not major, just slightly) when i put my foot down (or build up speed, fast or slow), is it something to do with the timing? i'm not great on engine stuff….so any helps appreciated
its a 1.8, with a 32/36 weber carb

try taking the plugs of the dizzy cap i had same problem with me 1.8 kjet  took the plugs off sprayed with good old wd40 to stop damp getting in then replaced them and runs sweet as a nut.
