ive replace my pierbug mounting plate still blowing high rev

had high reves 3000 rpm from cold then it went downn to 1500 when warm, when id turn her of she would splutter and start up for a quarter of a second on of,
then it started blowing like the exhurst was blowing, my mate said you would get the same issues if the mounting plate was duff
i dont want a webber im trying to keep the pierburg so i got the plate she now revs from cold to just shy of 2500rpm but still soulnds like shes blowing
im gona call a duck a duck and say the exhurst manifold must be blowing
unless any of you brilliant people can help
im near manchester airport if any one local can have a look , i can make a wicked coffee lol

if the sound is still there it must be the vacuum pipes that control things

you can adjust your idle to bring it down to the right level

also might be work putting a emission tester on it to see weather your rice or lean. if you are this could be adding to your high idle

hth :)

if you look in the carb section and the how to guide

there is a guide to the vaccuum systems
