Idle problem

I have a 1991 clipper 1800 carb. The engine idle is up & down, even when warm.

The previous owner has dropped the pierburg & fitted a weber!       

I have just serviced the car; oil change, new filters, plugs, leads, dizzy cap & rotor arm in a bid to cure the problem!

Would I benefit from a krypton tune? Any ideas??
