Fan only blows hot??

My golf clipper wont blow cold air it's pretty warm on the cold setting close to bein hot but works fine on the hot setting which will be good in winter anyone had the same trouble?

Probably either a(semi-)broken cable or perished seals in that heater matrix valve thingy me bob :p

I remember on my dads old passat that he needed to open the bonnet to completely close it, i'd imagine its the same on ours although I haven't really tested the difference between console off and bonnet off lol

Heaps of posts on this.  The common solution is to replace the heater valve - GSF has them.

mine was like this but i fixed it.

under the engine bay where the valve is check its facing the right way. the arrow on the side should be pointing towards the cab not into the engine bay i turned mine round and now she works fine
