engine rattle

i've got 88 cab there seem's to be a rattle between 1800-2500rpm,not a thing when it's ticking over,also seem's to go when it's over 2500rpm,
i've flushed the engine 2 week's ago because it had bad tappit noise,
buy it still tick's when started from cold 30 second's ,it almost sound's a bit like quiet diesel  between 1800/2500rpm,it's only done 100k! :dontknow:  any one!,thanks gary.

might be time to buy some new tappets they do wear out, milage isn't a factor, more how there treated, i.e. reagular oil changes.
