Crankshaft pulley bolt size

Post

Anyone know off hand what size bolts hold the bottom crank shaft pulley on? Mine are knackered and half rounded off from previous owner. Some new ones would be nice!

I think the 4 bolts holding the crank pulley on are VW part no. n0147067

Maybe try a VW dealer as expensive for a bolt….
Or any old bolt the right size and length may work?

Ooof yeah that's pricey. Thanks for that. I'll shop around and see what I can find!

Bought a set of five from eBay - look to be the same specification, will double check when they arrive.

Sharing link for anyone else who may go looking, high tensile set of five, same specs only £2.52!

Over on this side of the pond, I have a great hardware store that provides metric bolts to a few automotive and farm implement makers, so they have a ton of metric bolts, screws, and what-nots.  So I just go match them up.

I forget that others are not a fortunate as I in living in a large Metro area that is also a import manufacturing hub.

I don't recal ever paying that much per bolt ever, save for head bolts.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.
