cam belt
1.5 engine with the lower and upper covers over the belt (think its a JB but can't remember)
according to the haynes manual you remove the lower drive belt pulley by undoing the centre nut but surely this removes the lower cam belt pulley aswell so how do line a new belt up if you cant see the timing marks.
i think i'm being stupid here. anyone done this before who can give me some advice PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE

If that's the case, then the Haynes manual is wrong. Its the 4 hex head bolts you undo. I place the engine more/less at TDC then mark everything with tipp-ex. You can use the TDC mark on the flywheel, visible through the bellhousing, if your pulley has been removed.
