Lauren's Accident Update
I also appreciate greatly all the help and concern that the club and its members showed towards Lauren and our family. We have had lots of people calling and texting to find out how she is and that proves what a great club this really is and what great friends we have made in it. A special mention to Ant who helped keep the situation under control and calm and also to the lady who witnessed the accident (sorry but I dont know your name) for her reassurance. Cheers also to Dano for foning the ambulance so quickly. Sorry if I have missed anyone out but it was all a bit of a blur.
Also big thanks to our Midlands Club friends for keeping our son company, fed, watered and slightly drunk!!!!!
Now all that is needed is a rerun of this years AGM for myself and my daughter who missed most of it and both need an excuse to wear our fancy dress costumes!!!
Thanks again to you all.
Love Hazel (Ghia)

It was me that was with Lauren first, but all I did was to keep her still and get her talking until Ant arrived.
I'm glad to hear that she's on the mend, I've been thinking about her and checking for updates.
You'll have to get your regional lot to have a special fancy dress meet so you can use your costumes!

Reckon you should give the fancy dress an airing at the next Midlands meet, especially as you never told us what you were going to be wearing
Big up to Ant for his assistance with Lauren :punk: :punk: :punk:

Glad she's ok but the question is why was she not wearing a helmet?
i suppose its because she never actually brought a bike to the show and so never needed a helmet, then daz and ansar turn up with bmx's (the toilet run bikes) and lauren and morgan were just riding around keeping themselves amused etc when unfortuante accident happened ..

When my wife was in intensive care (Radcliffe infirmary head trauma) there was loads of cycle injuries due to no helmets, 1 little girl even died.
So if the outcome was different would you still think it's ok as it's not her bike….. No I don't think so.

Not being someone who likes wine, I tasted your "marrow wine" and couldn't see what was special about it……….. so I assume it was just white wine then??
