Is there a provisional date for the 2012 AGM ??

As I missed this years AGM as I was on holiday I was wondering when next years might be ??  I always go on my 2 weeks hols the last fortnight of July and possibly can change them if I find out when the AGM is ??

I know its early and a long shot but you can only ask  :wink:

Not just yet.  Dan has applied for available dates from the site for July/August and we're awaiting a reply atm.

No date yet decided I know but really hope it doesnt clash with Bug Jam

I had posted this just before the date had been set but usually go on hols during the first 2 weeks in July so might miss it again

Yeah, probably. This has ALWYAS been my point. It will always clash with something! The showground in Malvern is a really good one and their target audience is in my opinion more aligned with ours. Certainly more than BugJam.

Anyway, it's been set in stone now and will be in printed the calendar.

Looking forwards, let's all hope the move is a success.

the BVF haven't released there 2012 date yet

i have a dentist appointment on friday the 6th july 2012 but think i might re arrange it so it clashes with bugjam  now

Look, there's always a clash what ever date is picked and its not just about other shows.

People asked for a date away from BugJam - they have it. If it proves unpopular then 2013 may see a date in October!!!!!  :mrgreen:

If we don't try out new things we'll never know. Up to now, Malvern has never cropped up as an issue.

9 months off to get used to a new date and make arrangements - its not that hard is it???  :dontknow:

Moving on, Matt I wouldn't miss that dental appointment, especially with your appetite. You need to keep that pie processing equipment in tiptop condition!

Anyway this could run and run, you guys have chosen a date out of the hat and it aint changing, so for that reason, I'm out!

I'm in  touch with the organisers of BVF and they ALWAYS have the show first weekend in July (and I should know seeing as I haven't missed one in the last 17 years) its one of the best it really is!   I've been trying to get a Mk1 stand there for years to no avail  

Anyway, next year they do have a problem as Camperjam is clashing with BVF on 6-8 Jul so they have asked them to move their event forward a week as Weston Park is free but they are awaiting confirmation before announcing.

As for the AGM, I really do think it was good at the end of July, just when the school hols were starting - doesn't matter if I have 9 years to plan, I won't be missing BVF but would also like to attend this great AGM with you lot too   :wink:  nevermind, can't have everything I suppose!

That's interesting. I can only assume we had discussions with BugJam before we changed the date. No way it could of been a unilateral decision.
