Thought it was quite a good show, loads more mk1s than last year.

Thought the peoples car award was a total farce though. How can a BBQ get the best car at the show? I know trophies arent the point of it all but loads of people put a poop load of effort into their mk1s to be beaten by a fliping BBQ.

To be fair the two lads that are responsible for the BBQ, Burt and Daz, are both massive mk1 enthusiasts and spend bucket loads of time and money on their own cars both of which were in the show line up and are both fine examples of MK1's.

They spent a lot of time and money building the tow-along so I think deserve the award for initiative and dedication to the club..  :wink:

Totally agree with you Stu.  Daz and Bert spent a lot of their own time feeding all  the campers on Sat nite.  Its only a bit of fun.   :roll:

You managed to wash those marker pen signatures of yet?  :lmao:
