horn not working
ive checked the horn, the fuse, the earth on the column (all fine), when i touch the copper strip to the steering column it works, but i cant hear the relay clicking, i would of thought the relay was ok if its sounding when its earthed out? :dontknow: Has anyone got any ideas as i have it boooked in for mot next week.

My copper ring is slighty worn ( ops: ) and the small 'tag connector'' doesn't make contact when it 'dead ahead' but take it slightly off centre and its fine.
I now set my steering wheel just off centre. It used to annoy the hell out of my OCD but I've learnt to live with it now!!!!
Have you also tried wiring the horn direct from the battery to make sure that they do in fact work??

If you start adding new buttons to the dash where will it all end…. only one place, a wiring disaster.
Do it once, do it right. Go to a professional if you can't do it.
The MOT station may even be able to sort it for you to get it through. :dontknow:

Think i have the same issue m8, i have no earth to the column/rack.
Where is this earth strap? i have a 4 branch as well so il let you know if i find a solution
